Chapter 1: Origin of the Mario Brothers




Long ago, in a place that no human could travel to but had inhabitants that could visit Earth (Humans did not know much about these inhabitants but Muggles had developed a great treaty that would allow them to send individuals to Hogwarts), two brothers were born in the land of Yoshis( dinosaur-like creatures). This land had lucious green valleys and beautiful waterfalls and mysterious caves filled with treasure of all riches. The Yoshi’s lived in a paradise that can only be described by myths. They lived very freely and played many games all day long. Now, within this land, some looked identical to us humans but other looked nothing like us humans. Yet, the human look alikes had one difference, they had the ability to learn magic. Where this power came from, no one knows. Ok, where am I going with this, back to the story! One brother had a red cap, the other one had a green cap. Their parents had made an agreement with the King of the Yoshis, a dear friend of theirs. This agreement stated that the Yoshis would raise the brothers while their parents were off fighting in the Great Mushroom War. Now before I go on let me explain the events. Long ago their was the great king of the Mushroom Kingdom. His people lived in happiness and prosperity. He also had a pet turtle named Bowser. They were the bestest of friends. They did everything together, including sleeping. Often he would take him to greet everyone that was in attendance at his balls. Bowser got treated as part of the royal family. He went everywhere with them, even to Isle Delfino (he would eventually almost destroy the beauty of this place for good, many years latter). One day, Bowser went missing for unknown reasons. Most people believe that he was stolen by Sir Flare-A-Lot, a bounty hunter from the land of the Fire Bots, south of the Mushroom Kingdom. These people were known for being thieves of all kinds. This list ranged from ordinary mushrooms to extrodinary weapons of destruction. All of the kingdoms did not like these people, due to their destruction. Apparently, Sir-Flare-A-Lot saw potential in Bowser so he kidnapped him in a secret lair deep in a volcano in the middle of a mountain range of 1,000 miles. Within this lair he fused him with growth hormones to make him a giant. Next he made him take the Desire of the Peach, a potion that would make him fall in love with the king’s daughter until his demise. Finally, he combined him with a dragon to make him look more ferocious. When Sir Flare-A-Lot exclaimed “My ultimate weapon has been born, no one can stop me”, he was shot by a spy that had seen the whole process. Then the spy called on the Shroom Team to lock up Bowser deep within the same volcano(Bowsers powers had not been fully developed at this time, his powers increased while he was locked up). Meanwhile, Mario and Luigi had been developing their magic skills in the Forest of Truth, north of New Yoshi. They had been sent to live their as babies in order to protect them from invasion. They would study the world of magic, in order to develop their skills for Hogwarts. They would also train all aspects of their strengths in preperation for the dangerous monsters they would slay. Mario and Luigi both prefered to use gloves instead of wands. There were many strategical advantages of using the gloves. First off they could not be destroyed as easily as wands can. The other advantage is that they could be fitted to any hand. Now, Mario and Luigi did not know about Hogwarts at the time but agreed to go in order to avenge Bowser’s army.
